Status, 23 October 2026, launch day. Modern Warfare 4 is out. Reaper build 1.3 was compiled and software-validated against the Modern Warfare 4 Beta. Software validation means the compiler and the release checks passed; it is not a gameplay test. This page states only what the release records show, and it will be updated with a dated note the moment a build is re-validated against the retail game.
Reaper is the VeraScripts script for Modern Warfare 4. It is a one-time purchase, it installs to a Cronus Zen from your browser, and the current build is 1.3, published 31 August 2026. Build 1.3 was compiled and software-validated against the MW4 Beta, which is a compiler and release check rather than a gameplay test on the retail game.
One thing worth being precise about: the release records show that a build passed software validation, meaning the compiler and the release checks. That is not the same as a gameplay test, and it is not presented as one. If a seller is advertising a fully working MW4 script for a game that has not shipped, ask them the same question.

Installing it, the short version
- Buy Reaper or Vera+ and sign in at verascripts.com with the Discord account on the purchase.
- Put the Zen on firmware 2.3.0 or newer with Cronus' own web update tool, using the CONSOLE/PC port. See Update Cronus Zen firmware.
- Close Zen Studio and any other tab holding the Zen.
- In desktop Chrome or Edge, connect the Zen's right-side PROG port with a data cable.
- Open Flash, pick Reaper, connect, review the empty slot the installer chose, install, and wait for the completion screen.
- Confirm the OLED reads
REAPER V1.3.gpc, move the Zen to the console, and prove controller input on the dashboard before launching the game. - Match the in-game controller layout, trigger configuration, stick layout and deadzones before touching recoil. Then select ISO Nightshade or Han 86 in Weapon mode.

Honest limits and risks, read this before you buy
Activision's published position is not ambiguous. In its RICOCHET Anti-Cheat update (Season 03 Recap, May 2025), Activision wrote:
"In response, we have delivered cease and desist demands to several companies that create and sell these products and will take them to court if necessary. We have already seen compliance from some of the companies we've contacted; however, we will continue to pursue other device makers in the market, globally, as well as people that create scripts to manipulate Call of Duty game code. These devices and scripts used to cheat in our games are not welcome. Call of Duty does not endorse the use of these products. Any account that utilizes these devices on PC or console for the purpose of cheating will be permanently banned."

- Two weapons are mapped, not the whole arsenal. ISO Nightshade and Han 86. If you main something else, you will be using the generic recoil modes, not a tuned curve.
- Results vary by controller, console, firmware, settings and patch. VeraScripts publishes no performance numbers because it has no test it would defend in public.

Yes. Modern Warfare 4 launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 only. A Cronus Zen plus Reaper cannot put the game on hardware it does not release for.
