PS5 setup: the free bypass

Do the free bypass once so the PS5 accepts the Zen. No Zen LINK needed.

On PS5 the Zen needs a one-time bypass before any script will fire in game. It is free and takes about a minute. You do not need a Zen LINK.

Do this once

  1. Watch the bypass video and follow it exactly: PS5 bypass (video).
  2. When it is done, your controller works in the PS5 dashboard and in the game through the Zen.
  3. Now install and set up your script.

How to tell the bypass is not done

  • The script installs fine but never fires in game.
  • Fadeaway: set STAND to 400 and shoot. If 2K still says LATE, the bypass is not done.
  • The controller works with the Zen unplugged but not through the Zen.

Redo the bypass and try again. Do not factory reset the Zen for this. Xbox needs no bypass.
