PS5 controller compatibility setup

This guide covers ordinary controller and cable compatibility for a PS5/Zen setup. VeraScripts does not provide instructions for bypassing authentication, defeating a platform control, or avoiding enforcement. If your console requires an authentication or compatibility accessory, use the platform and device maker’s documented setup or contact support before continuing.

Compatibility checklist

1. Update the PS5, controller, and Cronus Zen using their official tools and supported firmware.
2. Use a data-capable USB cable. Connect the Zen to the console/gaming path and the controller to the correct Zen input as shown by the device documentation.
3. Confirm the controller navigates the PS5 dashboard normally with the Zen connected before opening a game.
4. Install the owned script from the Vera flasher only after the controller path is working. Disconnect the computer before playing.

Compatibility checks

• The script installs successfully but the controller does not work in the dashboard.
• The controller works with the Zen unplugged but not through the Zen.
• The game or console reports an authentication, firmware, or accessory requirement. Do not attempt to work around it; use the official support path and ask Vera support about documented compatibility.

Do not factory-reset hardware or follow third-party workaround videos as a troubleshooting step. Record the console model, controller model, firmware, cable path, and the exact on-screen error for support.
