Demon: Multiplayer vs. Warzone Recoil Profiles in Black Ops 7 (2026)

Why one profile never works for both modes

Multiplayer and Warzone play by different physics. Engagement ranges shift. Time to kill shifts too. A recoil curve tuned for a 15 meter multiplayer lane falls apart at 80 meters in Verdansk-style zones.

Demon V5.6 solves this by shipping five MP recoil profiles and five separate Warzone profiles, not one blended set. I pulled the current build notes before writing this, and the split is intentional, not a leftover from an older build.

I checked the spec sheet myself. Demon lists 5 MP and 5 Warzone recoil profiles, 46 selectable weapon entries, and 5 menu categories total. That is a lot of surface area for a single Cronus Zen script.

How the five weapon classes map

Demon groups its 46 weapon entries into five broad classes, then applies a matching recoil profile per mode. The idea is simple: an assault rifle in MP kicks differently than the same gun in Warzone, because damage ranges, movement speed, and encounter distance change the math.

Weapon class MP profile behavior Warzone profile behavior
Assault Rifles Tighter vertical compensation for close-mid lanes Extended curve for long sightlines
SMGs Fast horizontal correction for close quarters Reduced aggression, longer TTK windows
LMGs Sustained-fire vertical control Adjusted for slower ADS and larger maps
Marksman Rifles Snap-back tuned for duel ranges Wider tolerance for verticality and distance
Shotguns/Other Minimal recoil need, movement-focused helpers Same, with map-scale movement adjustments

Five classes, five MP profiles, five Warzone profiles. Ten total curves, not five doubled up as guesswork.

Switching class in the menu pulls both the MP and Warzone version of that class's curve into memory. You are not stacking settings from two different games by accident.

Wake Aim and directional guidance in each mode

Wake Aim is Demon's stationary circle behavior; it centers your stick input rather than letting drift creep in during holds. In MP, short engagement windows mean Wake Aim needs to settle fast. In Warzone, longer holds during a firefight mean the circle has more time to work but also more room to drift if it is not calibrated well.

Directional right-stick guidance sits on top of Wake Aim. It nudges your input toward the target axis without taking the stick away from you. My honest take: the MP version feels tighter because the guidance window is shorter and the game rewards snap decisions, while the Warzone version feels calmer, built for sustained holds rather than quick trades.

That difference is not cosmetic. Demon's menu treats MP and Warzone as separate contexts throughout, from recoil to the aim engine settings, not just at the weapon-select screen.

My take: Demon is worth the $50 for anyone splitting time between MP and Warzone, because ten separate curves beat one averaged compromise every time you switch modes mid-session.

Switching profiles without losing your setup

Demon uses profile banks so you are not retuning from scratch every time you swap modes. The workflow, as built:

  1. Open the menu (5 categories total, so this is quick).
  2. Pick MP or Warzone as your active context.
  3. Select your weapon class; the matching recoil curve loads automatically.
  4. Adjust controller calibration and drift settings if your pad needs it.
  5. Save to a profile bank so the next session starts where you left off.

That is four steps to a full mode switch, five if you save a new bank. It is not a redesign every match, just a context flip.

One line, because it matters: the semantic controller layouts mean button mapping stays readable even after you have swapped modes twice in one session.

What changed since V5

Demon V5.6 is the current build as of this writing, released 08.31.26. It is the second public build. The patch notes are dated and public at the patch-notes page, so you can check exactly what moved between 5.0 and 5.6 rather than taking a vague "updated" claim on faith.

I like that the build history is public. It is a small thing, but it means nobody has to guess whether "recent update" means last week or last year.

Getting it running

Demon installs through the browser flasher after a Discord sign-in; you plug the Zen into the programming port, pick a profile slot, and flash. No separate software download, no Zen Studio file juggling. That install path is the same one Vera+ members and standalone Demon buyers both use.

Our pick for Black Ops 7

Demon is our pick for Black Ops 7. It gets updated after every patch, installs from the browser in one flash, and keeps a dated build history at its patch-notes page so you can see exactly what changed and when. VeraScripts makes Demon; it is $50 one time, with real customer reviews (71 written, as of this writing) posted at verascripts.com/reviews and a Discord community of 5,900+ members backing it up. FAQ

Does Demon require two purchases for MP and Warzone? No. One purchase, $50 one time, covers both the MP and Warzone recoil profiles. You switch context inside the same menu.

Will my settings reset when I switch from MP to Warzone? Not if you save to a profile bank first. Demon's bank system holds your calibration and quick-toggle setup per context, so switching is a load, not a rebuild.

Do all 46 weapon entries have both MP and Warzone recoil curves? Weapons are grouped into five classes, and each class carries its own MP and Warzone curve. Individual weapon entries map to a class rather than each getting a bespoke curve.

What does Wake Aim actually do during a stationary aim hold? It centers your stick input around a small stationary circle, reducing the drift that creeps in during longer holds, especially useful in Warzone's slower-paced firefights.

Is Demon's build history public? Yes. Demon V5.6 patch notes, along with the earlier public build, are posted at verascripts.com/blog/demon-patch-notes with release dates.

How is Demon installed? Through the browser: sign in with Discord, connect the Zen through the right-side programming port, choose a profile slot, and flash. No separate desktop software required.
